When you email SMETRD, we process the data you send: name, company, email address and shipment or product details. We use them to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you book, carry out the contract and the required customs and transport formalities.
The site itself has no contact form, no account area and no tracking or advertising tools. The web server may record technical data such as IP address, date and requested page for security and operation.
Legal basis and recipients
The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), performance of a contract, legal obligations such as customs and accounting rules (Article 6(1)(c)) and legitimate interest in running and securing the website (Article 6(1)(f)).
Data are shared only where needed for the service: carriers, customs agents and partners involved in your shipment, and the hosting provider. Recipients outside the EU, including in Turkey, are bound by the contract and the necessary safeguards.
